Air Jordan 11
Imagine you're mowing the lawn and suddenly you think of what one of the world's most iconic sneaker silhouettes should look like. Yes, that's exactly what happened to Tinker Hatfield when the design concept for the Air Jordan 11 was still sitting on his desk. The glossy patent material is what sets the 11 apart from the Air Jordan 9 and 12 in the first place. The patent leather area on the upper of the shoe was Michael's wish, as he wanted a sneaker he could wear with his much-loved suits.

The silhouette inspired by the elegance of dress shoes was first introduced in 1995 in three colorways. Jordan 11 Concord, Jordan 11 Bred and Jordan 11 Columbia. The three were joined by another colorway, Jordan 11 Cool Grey. The color palette was so perfect that the sneakers became an instant hit in streetwear and popular culture. It helped Michael win more than one basketball game - MJ scored dozens of points (and specifically the colorway Bred put on after his return to basketball) and helped the Chicago Bulls win their 4th NBA title. The silhouette also starred in the iconic movie Space Jam. In short, it's a great shoe to complement your outfit and it will pair perfectly with wide-leg pants.
