About the Air Jordan 1 High
The Air Jordan 1 High is the legendary silhouette of an even more legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan. Hailed as "the one that started it all", this sneaker is not to be missed in any sneaker collector's shoe closet. It was there when Jordan was drafted by the Chicago Bulls and stood at the very beginning of the basketball great's career, and who knows what his legacy would look like today if it weren't for this sneaker. The first colorway of this sneaker, now referred to as the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bred, even reportedly earned a fine from NBA management due to its rebellious black/red color combination. The shoe has subsequently come out in many other colorways over its rich history, such as Chicago, Black toe, Royal and more recently Pine Green, Court Purple, Dark Mocha. This iconic silhouette boasts a plethora of collaborations, such as with world-famous rapper Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack brand, or the king of the streetwear world, Virgil Abloh.
