About Nike Dunk
The Nike Dunk silhouette first saw the light of day in 1985. What was originally a basketball sneaker has become a streetwear icon, and now comes in Dunk Low, Dunk High and the lesser known Dunk Mid. About the brand
The Nike brand was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by University of Oregon coach Bill Bowerman and his student Phil Knight. They opened their first store in 1966 and interestingly enough, before they started making their own shoes, they were the exclusive importer of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, today's Asics.
