About Nike X Off-White
Nike's collaboration with fashion designer Virgil Abloh, creative director of Louis Vuitton and his Off-White brand. Together they brought to the scene the most iconic Nike sneaker models with a typically deconstructed touch, letting us peek under the hood of the shoe's very creation. About the brand
The Nike brand was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by University of Oregon coach Bill Bowerman and his student Phil Knight. They opened their first store in 1966 and interestingly enough, before they started making their own shoes, they were the exclusive importer of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, today's Asics.
